you could make a very good living making them. if you was to put it in a shepherds mag or a agrivulture show bet you get a no of orders for one as its easy to move unlike the old shepherds huts.

be a lot of people who do shows this would be ideal for.

out of interest if you did get asked to make one as a order how much aprox looking at to have one made.

We are thinking along similar lines....

The yurt and 'glamping' have really established a foot hold in the 'stay-cation' market which would certainly compliment the agri-show-goers potential.

I was going to ask if there was any thought about making a set of plans / project guidance available to ATers (perhaps at a fee towards AT charity or one of your own choice or indeed as a reward to yourself)

It's obvious your skill & artisan vision are a major factor in this, maybe there's an income stream too!?!

It really looks the part at The Chippenham Folk Festival :001_smile:

I'm sure it will attract people onto your stand, quite relieved that the girlfriend won't see it

hi mate nice meeting you and thanks for coming to say hi, :thumbup1:

well the van pulled along nicely behind the transit and was happy sitting at sixty(on motorway), we parked her next to the stall and she drew lots of admirers, photo`s galore,

more importantly ,she was warm and snug, and didnt leak as it rained heavily on saturday, had two offers for her, but going to hang onto her for the summer:001_smile:

After reading threw your thread Delabodge you have inspired me to finally make a start on my take of a sheperds hut. I have had a caravan chassis which I cut the top off about ten years ago which I'am going to use for the running gear. It needs to be made slightly wider so as to make a bed 6' long across the end. Going to make the frame work and then I can take the measurements to get the curved tin ordered. Here's a photo from the start of the project.
