fit second hand window,having adjusted the original window opening,then build up the side, decided to make an elm porch of sort to add some charachter to the front, then worked out the arch.:001_smile:

To late now but I would have used a breathable membrane over the stud work to ensure that it is water tight. Those T & G planks will leak like a sieve.

 

Also consider adding some internal diagonal braces within the stud work so that the T&G is not the only thing stopping racking.

 

Remember that emergency is going to put huge loads on the structure so keep the top weight as low as possible & plenty on bracing.

hi mate, (just me) thanks for input, i might just do that next time, but I sealed the whole thing, in an aliminuium expanding paint thats used on boats,with two coats,then a primer then two coats of weathershield, and now fitting the interior, this baby aint going no-where! to be fair I do six shows and it`ll be used for them, the rest of the time she`ll be parked in my yard under cover , I had her out in a downpour yesterday and she aint leaked yet?.
