The UK Forestry Demo 15/16 May 2014

Hi Guys

 

Just to let you know about the UK Forestry Demo taking place on 15 and 16 May this year.

 

The previous one, held in 2011, was a massive success and this one is hotting up to be equally as good, if not better. If watching 3,000+ tonnes of timber being felled in a couple of days by the latest in mechanised timber harvesting technology excites you, then this is the event for you!

 

Again, the five major companies, (Clark, John Deere, Komatsu Forest, Ponsse and Tigercat), have got together to put on this amazing event. This year will also see the addition of static stands.

Event location is at Little Clyde, Elvanfoot, Biggar, Scotland, ML12 6RL….just off the M74 southbound motorway.

 

Look us up on the Clark stand if you come along!

Bit of a silly question.

 

But did u learn/see much at the show? If ur in the game have u not seen it all before?

I've cut in front of most colours of harvester and they all seem to do the same anyway, (althou personally not really into machines) if u've seen harvester seen them all (good operator impresses me more) some have strong/weak points at various things so generally.a swings and roundabouts choice

 

Was the timber good enough to see machines at their best? Generally a lot of poor timber in that area.

Was past it on thrus seemed to be a few cars there
