Opportunity for one of serious repairers on here

 

You send photos of saw and description of problem so you have idea of problem

He Does deal with national carrier to collect / deliver chainsaws to his workshop ( i know serious discounts are available on carriage charges )

He repairs / services and delivers back asap

 

No need to drive into town to get saw sorted ......

 

Simples

is that £10+vat both ways .

 

Collection and delivery back, the price was set about 18 months ago. We are going through the carrier charges at the moment and it may have to go to £15.00 soon.

TCD, there are few echo dealers, and even fewer mak-dolmar dealers in the UK.......

I do wonder at times if we in the UK are being stitched up by the big boys and if they conspire against the smaller players to keep them out of the UK, so as to keep prices high..... any whistle blowers willing to tell all. ???

In terms of dolmar, I doubt, Makita were too busy removing proper dealerships and focusing on the screwfix special market, echo I think were back-benched, but have become more popular over the past few years, efco is another you hear little of, but then one turns up

Yep. 40-60mins. each way, once to drop off, plus once to pick up, plus a phone call to ensure the job is done. £15 for C+R is still a good deal.
