12v Battery charger???

All I can say is I will follow this thread with interest.

My Dads mower battery was flat when I got to Northumberland yesterday.

Stuck it on his very compact CTEK charger, about £35.

24 hours later it had juice in it, but still not enough to turn over.

 

Battery may be to blame, but he said it took 48hrs last time.

 

I think more £ = less charging time.

You'll need to get a charger, which is actually capable of charging your particular batteries. You may find that the cheaper chargers will be rated for charger batteries for cars up to 1.6L petrol. Working up to 2.0L petrol and onto 2.2L diesel. The greater the battery's CCA rating, (cold cranking amps) the more oomph the charger needs to be capable of feeding.
