He-Ho Chaps, New member. Found you whilst googling Arborist Forums believe it or not haha. After 14 - 15 hours a day trying to run my own business, I needed some people to carry on discussing all things tree related with. Its not a job, its a lifestyle. My fiancee doesnt agree haha. Hope I'm welcome??

franknewarb, if you're going to Askham Bryan make sure you get yourself to harlands garden machinery at green hammerton for youir ppe or to craig and sybill at trees unlimited (or is it bts now?) at farsley near pudsey. Also get as much as you can out of the instructors at ABC especially graham hewson the senior technician. Wherabouts in yorkshire are you based?

Hi,

New here. Been lurking for about 6 months. I am not an arborists, just a person with a small woodland that I am trying to manage better than its been looked after before. Its only 1 hectare (thats about 2.5 acres in old money). Its classified as ancient Oak woodland even though its only got a few Oaks in it. The biggest trees are all beeches.

So I am here to learn all I can about trees & their care.

Justme

(Richard)
