Who mentioned XP saws?? is it only fitted to them?? I've only seen it at the APF, did not look of uses to me, but thought it could be OK for those less familiar with saws.

I mentioned XP saws as I have seen it on a 346XP . Ok . Fit it to home owner saws if you must but leave it off the pro saws .....

The APF is a trade show which members of the public can go to but I bet 90% of people there are pros ergo why bother displaying a system aimed at occasional users?

If it makes occasional users have less accidents, meaning less legislation for me, its a good thing IMO, horses for courses.

Its a pants idea . You said you don't fancy it yourself . So if you must have it fit it to farmer / home owner / hobby saws only and make it optional .

No, but the HSE take notice all saw injuries and make life more difficult for us pro's.

 

The less saw incidents the better, IMO.
