Never tried but don't like the look of it . Something else to keep hold of / go wrong . Does not seem to be catching on round here anyway .

The rear brake looks like it would get in the way

I have had some experience with one and the rear brake got in the way a lot while snedding up, obviously that's my personal experience others may say different.

The point is to make the saw safer.

I think the saw is safe enough as it is . I think a bloke at Husqvarna engineered it just because he could .

If it makes occasional users have less accidents, meaning less legislation for me, its a good thing IMO, horses for courses.

One bloke has said it gets in the way when snedding . That makes it more dangerous me thinks ?
