You do tend to get through a bit more friction cord but cos your goin quicker u get more work done which means u make more money so u can buy more cord haha...its a viscious circle.

 

Its probabaly my favourite piece of kit i own!!

I like to keep it simple, i like knots cause their flexible cheap easy and fun to tie.

Yale xtc various lengths, and split tail 13m blakes hitch. double overhand stopper

8ml prussic loop for secondary line.

wire core pole belt and pully and distel hitch i think.

Arbor master harness, got it in aus, keep meaning to up date.

cant tear em work shirt with 2 slings kept in the breast pockets, keeps em handy yet snag free.

Sliky hand saw always.

I foot lock so I don't use acenders

hopping I get this right and my harness is on display, I could'nt get a photo of the australian standard, its says the usual things about destroying after a sigificant impact 6mt +, and then says remove from service a maximin of 10 years..:confused1:

I love it, cause I'm used to it, but it is too old 1.5 years use, 7 years old, any one suggest a good replacement.

Im a humble Council employee and this is what the locals rates buy for arborists

 

Buckingham Versatile

steel core lanyard or grillon or 16mm with distel

Samson Bluestreak(old),Yale XTC(new),various lengths.

Hitchclimbers,micros,lockjack sport,various splittails and prussic rope.

Gecko alloys(pole) or Buck steels(tree)

Various ascenders and descenders and rope grabs
