Been asked to do a green man carving so I thought I'd have a wee practice.

Took me about an hour to flesh out, thought it weren't too bad so spent another hour fettlin and staining with decking stuff. (Might get a few quid for it)

Hope to do a better job of the commission, I'll have more time to play.

Need a better vision of what I'm going to carve.

Any advice on easiest leaf shapes to carve? Or additional details? Please.

Really like that, you've done a cracking job.

I've got a green man on the front of the house, think he is covered (and seems to be chewing on) Oak leaves......

I've got one in my kitchen, in mahogany I think. Green men tend to have leaves coming out of their mouths, noses, eyes, ears etc. (as mine does). Bit freakish, and probably not easy to do with a chainsaw!
