Has anyone had any experience advertising on yell.com?

Been offered to be displayed on front page for £22 per month, not sure whether to go for it

Yes, I do the free offer and have had plenty of hits - don't waste your money unless you are desperate in my opinion. Get your clients to post a review once completed and it does help when selecting a competitor. Grab my website and have a look on Yell for me to see. You can use my ideas to get responses. Make sure in your services that you capture words that people will search you. Tree for example in your paragraph will be picked up. Reports will too and often if people want a Tree Report - hey presto you will at least get a shot with everyone else on the list. Had a mate that worked for Yell and the £22 does get you a high profile but at what cost?

unless you pay top wack and get the top slot or maybey one of the top 3 then forget it. my experience yell.com customer for 2 years and wont be making it 3 unless something changes massively
