in my first post i asked if someone had a spare 12v zapper not sure what there called to set up to stop them nicking my feeders i,ve had to bolt them to the roof rafters in my wood shed as i have already lost 4 feeders so have put up so called squirall proof feedes up now but there still ripping the fatballs out the feeder leaving the mesh on the logstore floor

all i want to do is set up a zapper so when they climb across and touch the feeders they get zapped and learn to leave them alone

A kania trap is fixed up a tree so unless the dog can climb you will be absolutely fine with it. I have never heard of anyone zapping a squirrel.
