I tend to have the radio on in the earmuffs most of the time, but it depends on what I'm doing as to how loud or if at all.

I work alone and the music is always on played through iPod and earphones under ear defenders. Some times give the customers a giggle as I'm shaking my ass to some good old rock n roll whilst jet washing or some Clash whilst mowing. Whatever the job the music is on. If I'm working with guys that need my attention then its on but low.
