I love the way Alec says we'll have the pound even though he's been told that he can't have it. "Aye we will" he says!!!

Totally in denial. if westminster says we can't have the pound the we can't have it! get over it!

You can always create your own currency Tom, the poond.

Point is all the SNP forecasts on future spending are based on the current situation, they haven't factored in the extra cost of building a whole state. It will bankrupt the country.

I almost want independence just so that I can say "I told you" in 10 years time, but that would be selfish as it would ruin millions of lives just for my own satisfaction.

Deans Whiskey thread may be under threat!!!

This is the big problem, its going to cost me a fortune as they will have to heavily tax everything.

Oil, Rab C nesbit, haggis and whisky are your only exports, I cant understand Rab, I dont eat Haggis but I do drink a lot of whisky

Don't worry everyone...the Scots are canny enough not to vote for a bunch of lefty loons...Scotland will stay in the Union and Great Britain will stay that way be cause of it

So cutting jobs and centralising things is good for the economy??

Yes, it's definitely cheaper!

It puts more people out of work and onto benefits and the government has to pick up the tab.

It appears to be working. Unemployment is falling.

Aye aye, that's why every "fact" that has been spouted so far in this thread and in the news headlines should be take with a pinch of salt !😏

It's great we're having a discussion without being jumped on. SNP supporters can be absolutely fanatical in person and on forums.

My sister's getting married this summer here in Scotland. I won't be wearing my kilt. I feel the SNP has taken taken that symbol and used it against us.

That's a shame Dave, seems a bit drastic!
