is ther such a thing as consertina type tunnel,so you can stack the bags then pull the tunnel over as you go,& could you put warm air fans in side without them melting the tunnel,just to get some warm air around the wood ,????

They do a rollover type tunnel for swimming pools, but from memory the cost was pretty eyewatering, Commercial horticultural tunnels are put up by the acre, the normal span is 8 metres I believe, you can drive a telehandler in them, but no insulation so heating is going to be of questionable benefit

dont want any thing that big its just to temp thing to get damp out of the logs ,

It wouldn't be that hard to do, take a model from the "easisheet" type systems on bulk tippers.

An "airshelter" is an expensive thing to have around the sharp and pointy world of tree work

Have a look at the australian solar tunnel dryers. they stack there timber in a pile then the tunnel is on a track and pulls over the pile. The pile thats dried is then moved into storage by forklift. Gets over the problem of using a forklift inside the tunnel.

Hi try Jonny Harrison at total poly tunnels I have talked to him before about replacing the plastic with fabric.

he is doing a lot more work these days with fabric covers but he might be able to help.
