Again, Husky 390xp or 395xp

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a new saw in the 90cc class. As a climber I'll need it for bigger take downs and for some ground work afterwards. Most of the time I would use a 28 inch bar but perhaps I'll need to go bigger sometimes.

Is the power of the 395 worth the higher weight compared to the 390? Normally I would say more power is always better but I have to carry it around in the tree.

I already have a Stihl Top Handle and a Husky 560xp with 18 inch bar. What do you guys think is the better choice for my purpose?

Cheers

Toby

Why not go for a saw inberween first like a 576xp with a 24" bar, can guaranty it will be used more than the big one due to weight.

I have both . If I could only have one of them it would be 395 ....Just me

But do you use it up a tree?

I have a 395xp and 10% of its use is up a tree. For that reason I'd choose the 395 but if half it's use was up a tree I'd choose the 390 because its lighter.

I also have an MS361.

Man up, eat your Weetabix and buy the bigger saw, there is no substitute for power.
