We start at 3:00 in the morning, only use Silkys till 7:00 then chainsaw till 5PM then back to Silkys till the scum-bag lazy staff finally finish the job around midnight.

Then it's back to the yard for 6 hours of maintenance and log splitting.

But at least they are happy in their work.

Grateful for the pittance I pay them and grateful for the high quality chinkachoppi saws and 3 core nylon rope I supply them with.

Shane, I think your working 27 hour days?. Based on your normal daily schedule. Wow you are productive:thumbup1:, how do you do it:confused1:

Here I am @ 4:12 on a Sunday morning and I am reading your reply.

I am not sure if I am inspired or wondering if my shorter better half's snoring and the daughters Text messaging can keep me up any longer from sleeping:lol:

Sleep after all is so over rated:sneaky2:.

ELG

I know the maths is wrong - I was basing it on an old Monty Python sketch

'We used to live in shoe-box in middle o road etc....'

Just stupid Brit humour I'm affraid.

In reality we keep fairly sensible hours 9-4:30 (often less)

Maybe a bit lazy but I work to live, not live to work.

I can make enough dosh to lead the lifestyle I want.

I just need an underwater chainsaw now.

7.30 to sort the kit for the day if needed, then on site by 8 to 9am depending on where we are going. Mostly domestic work so people dont like being woken before that time. Usually we are done and packing up by 4 but sometimes as late as 7 or 8 if its summer and we need to finish a job.

I like the easy life these days, i dont like being stressed out by trying to fit too much in a day if we dont have to.

Ted I woke to young Tom chatting away on to his friends on the Xbox this morning, oh the fun of technology on a Sunday morning
