You lucky so and so, living near scenery like that. Always good when folk appreciate their surroundings and don't take them for granted. I'm on the North Downs and there are fine views south - great views of Gatwick especially!

I envy you Stevie, stunning views mate. :001_smile: The wife and I thought about moving to the Outer Hebrides about five years ago after watching a tv programme about the place. I did,nt have a computer then so I ordered a yellow pages and phone book from BT for the area. We phoned the estate agents and they sent us lists with prices and photo,s of property for sale. I had it all mapped out in my head, I was gonna sell up and buy something up there for about £50,000 and pump the rest into a fishing boat. Thats about as far as it went though, did,nt have the bottle to go any further.

Love the scottish scenery. Went to college there and try to visit a few times of year to fish, walk etc. For breathtaking scenery you cant beat the north west highlands (sutherland area) proper wild country!!! Would love to do some work up there.
