Which bar for my Husky 560xp

I have got a standard 7-spline drum for my 560, just to try 3/8x8 with a short bar (16"). It worked very well for limbing and bucking smaller trees with my MS361, so I can't see why it wouldn't on the 560.

However, I need two legs to stand on before I can do much...

I find the 18" ( light weight Sugi ) .325 driven by an 8 pin about right for this saw . The balance is good on an 18" .

Agreed . Some one on here was saying a 9 pin .325 was a wood eater on soft . 2 x extra drivers . I suspect not enough torque generated for hard but not tried it yet ,.

I said it was a wood eater, I don't cut much soft, it's usually oak or thorn

Yes, it should be - but likely even better with a 16"?

8-pin .325 means about the same "gearing" as 7-pin 3/8.

Personally, I have no plans of using .325 on that saw, but am not fanatic about it.

The lack of 3/8" ones in small Husky is keeping me away from buying the Sugi light bars, as is the lack of 16" ones.

We do have these but I have them on the Special Offers page as all the selectors are geared to give the standard options the saw comes with.

Products for the category: Special Offers

So do have in 3/8 .058" in the sizes as below with the K095 mount... but not the 16". May get these in the next order but most seem to like to stick with the .325 on their 550s and 560s.

By order of popular bars way way far out ahead of all others is...

... 15" .325 .058 for Husky 550s and 560s.... next most popular is the 18" .325 .058 for Husky 550s and 560s!
