Arbtalk app not working on ipad

Hi Steve

 

The Arbtalk app appears to have stopped working on ipad. It was all fine but today when clicking to open the app I just get the initial brown page with the tree and arbtalk on and the spinning "loading" symbol, which eventually changes to a message saying the app is restricted contact administrator.

 

Are you aware of any problems or is it a problem local to my device? Any advice appreciated.

 

I can log in as normal via the web hence being able to post this

Normally when I have that problem it's the Internet or wifi connection playing up

It righted itself after about an hour. Sometimes an App does it. Half of mine crashed yesterday but all good today.

I get it occasionally. I either delete then reload the app or turn off the iPhone then back on

Had the same last night, app and main site on android tablet and main site on iPad.

That sometimes happens to me on the 'Touch' but without going to 'Loading'. When it does, I open up 'Arbtalk' via the Internet and sign-in. Keeping 'A' open, I then go back to the app and open it. While the site is open via a non-app entry, the app continues to function. But if the non-app login is closed, the app sometimes fails to function.

 

Now someone is going to ask why I don't just view 'A' via the non-app entry. Because on a small screen, the app makes function and viewing entirely more enjoyable.

It wouldn't load the main site last night, on my iPad or phone. It loaded after about an hour though

Hi Richard, The server went down last night for a short time, but that shouldn't really affect the app. I'd suggest restarting your phone, and if that doesn't fix it you will need to reinstall the app
