Always charge and pay double for Sundays, don't do many, only council road side jobs. They are always happy to pay double.

BUT Mick this is a "bank holiday Sunday" so should be quadruple time!!!!!!!!!!!!

we work Sundays occasionally when it is a rush to get a contract finished for a deadline. Saturday is paid time and a half, and Sunday is double time !!!!!

Maybe if we got more done during the contract there would be less of a rush and I wouldnt have to pay double at the end?! :001_tongue:

Mick I'd go double and then some for the bank hols mate, it splits up a nice long weekend!

I,m not keen to work it myself, it,s not the end of the world though. Just another day really. I,ve put a bit on top just to cover wages. If I dont do it someone else will and I cant see the point in letting work slip away. Besides it,s a doddle of a job.

depends how busy you are as a business. I would just price time and half like you said. If it is a good costumer price as normal.

I only charge high when the costumer is an arse..or if the look down on tree surgeons as thick gardeners. :mad1:

I should be on site for eight thirty, but then we will be at least an hour doing paperwork. Early Sunday noise is,nt an issue anyway as the job is on a huge gas storage depot. An hours worth of paperwork, they want a method statement, risk assessment, check emp and pl ins, waste carriers licence and then check qualifications. What a pullava. It,s a good job I have them all........I hope youre half drunk fat eedjit did,nt take a swing at you for his sake. Watched youre vid on youtube btw. :cool1:
