hi my asuka tn195 needs a new blade bolt, on the parts diagram its listed as a 335m-1020 does anybody know where to get one at a fair price or if honda part 90105 960 710 is the same? thanks

That is the correct part number for the bolt. The RRP is £1.72 plus vat each.

Hi Barrie

Knowing how much you love cylinder mowers! Don't suppose you got a drive chain connecting link for a Suffolk Super Punch hanging about anywhere have you?

very possibly, but I would not know which one fits it without the chain in front of me!

this one for gardenkit

have 2 problems with a hayter heritage 13/30 ride-on mower

1st tried to start it on key with battery charged and safety switches engaged but nothing will start with jump lead from battery to starter and arcing the 2 solenoid contacts with the key turned on so am i correct in thinking it is the solenoid then?

and the second when the deck is lifted up in to highest setting it is tightening the belt up and causing the blade to spin without the cutting lever being engaged cant see anything bent or out of alignment so could this be down to the wrong belt fitted?

hope you can help many thanks albert

Hi Albert,

Make sure every thing is in the correct position and the seat switch is overridden or you have a helper.

You need to test if you have live to the trigger on the solenoid (the small wire) This becomes live when you turn the key if all is well. Test with a multi meter or test light.

If this becomes live but no engine crank it will be the solenoid.

If this small wire is not live when the key is turned then it's a safety switch or ignition switch etc...

A none gen belt will cause the problem of the deck running in the top position.

What he said, almost.

A dicky solenoid usually, but not always gives a very slight click when power is applied to the little wire. If you get that click, but no start, you can be pretty sure its the solenoid and forget the tests.

If you want to prove the solenoid you can run a live wire from the battery direct to the small power terminal, but make sure everything is in neutral first, and disconnect the spark plug.

And, as Eddie says, the wrong belt can cause your issues, or the old belt may have been severely overheated and is grabbing.

Or the deck could be fitted wrongly.

We fit Kevlar coated belts to the deck drive on these rebadged Murry mowers as it prevents the drag effect when disengaged and a smoother engagement

Is it a chipper, is it a mower or another broken stump grinder who cares we'll fix it!
