Your suggestion wasn't a suggestion, it was a petty little dig. This thread was started for genuine responses to improve this site for everyone...if you have nothing of any substance to add, then please don't bother at all.

Also if theres a negative response to any post YOU make, perhaps you should be reviewing your own posts rather than blaming it on 'garbtalk'

Thank you

It really was a genuine request, a place to chat freely, if you assume it's a petty dig then that's your mind thinking in that way..petty.

I was not stating MY posts, in fact MANY people posts receive undue comments just like I have demonstrated here.

Don't ask for opinions then slate them when they are given. And as for the band wagon take a long walk into a chipper, really what a bunch of hill billies.

Any way, clearly wasting my time talking to the less minded.

Perhaps rather than focus on whats needed, we should mention what we like.

I like:

the lack of swearing

The fact there are other old farts on here as well

The fact that the younger members are also mature

The Sugari girl but we dont need to go any further plenty of other sites for that.

The ejector seat steve has fitted recently for the trolls and idiots.

As has been said I would like to see some stickies for the regular questions like how many logs in a bag and is hornbeam any good.

I would like to see more posts from the gals not in a pervy sort of way but they have a different view point and do make up half the population.

Apart from that I think its great I have been hanging around for 5 years and still never cut a tree down

I have an idea for the sticky threads you mentioned...they'll be sticky, but not sticky if that makes sense

A groundie forum would be nice.

There is a climbers one but nothing for the measly groundie.

I have found myself looking for an equipment forum a few times, but only found the chainsaw one.

A forum for other tools, like wheelbarrows, spades, hand saws, scythes, etc would be a great source of information.
