Here's mine, before and after. When I did the baffles I did a muffler (gentle

) mod too.

The difference in how the saw goes is quite incredible!

Very nice!

That pic might save me the embarrassment later when I realise I forgot to take one.

Out of curiosity, it looks like you got a very shiny finish, how did you manage it to be better than the OEM finish?

Thanks, I ground the baffle with a metal milling type head on the dremel and finished it with a flappy emery wheel.

Its quite easy to do, and doesn't take long to do or get to.

No pics of exhaust (it doesn't really muffle...) But I can take some later perhaps.

Yes the carb needs adjusting afterwards, mine had limiters on which I bypassed with the ignorant approach. (Turn it against limiter, then turn it some more...then turn it to and fro a few times. Not much finesse but quick and effective)

The flappy wheel I've had for eons, and I'm not sure it was a "proper" dremel one, it may well have been a drill attachment, but the shank fits.

Does anyone know if theres anywhere where you can buy a 372xp transfer port cover? I dont own a dremel.. Or maybe someone on here be up for doing it for me and il pay for your time?

Chances are you'll be able to buy a cheap dremel copy for less than the covers would cost and then you've still got a dremel for other jobs after :thumbup1: pretty sure I've seen them in our local Wilko or similar for about a tenner.

If you've got the ability to take the cover off then the actual modification would be the easy part :thumbup1: I use an Aldi version of the Dremel to clean the ports on scooter barrels, had it for years and it cost £12.99 with a flexible drive attachment which comes in handy.

If you've already got a compressor like me, I went down this route;
