Yeah we run a new gen 12x6 tipper.

Can't fault the trailer it's nice that the cage sides fold down saves taking them off

Only little bug bear is the pins/ chains for everything are ****. 2 off the linch pins have already broke the ring bit off. And the rear tailgate pin the chain pulls off the pin very easy. Other than that can't really moan

Would people go for the newer ifors? I know the older ones are a lot heavier! One i looked at was 350kg heavier then the new model!

Ask plogs!!

No, the new ones are better in some ways,

the tailgate folds both ways

Tipping gear under bed

Tool box for remote

Mesh sides hinge on top

On 8x5 have Ali floor as standard

Can order ramp storage on 8x5

Downside

On 10-12 ft ones

Don't like mesh high side posts

Mesh front and back flimsy

Ramp storage an extra now

True about the ramp storage, I didn't want it as they rattle around, can jump off the rails when loading/unloading, I prefer to carry them on the bed.

Well Chris I have, this ones on order, my third Ifor.

Never had a single issue with them, must count for something.

Do you mind me asking how much that set you back and what model and add-ons you went for?

I'm thinking about buying one similar to that but it soon adds up with the amount of extras you can have now!

No probs, it's a tt 3621, i got the mesh sides but not the winch or ramp holder.

It was €8000 including VAT, more pricey than the uk but with the strength of the pound ATM

It wasn't worth going back to get one.

yes an extra 85 + vat for the ramp storage robbing sods...

i hardly ever use ramps plus they have a chance of getting nicked on the trailer so i wont get them
