Interesting stuff I am looking for a new yard at the moment and been offered a possible 6 acres of concrete with 2big buildings on trying to find another business to share the cost. How do they work business rates out is it done on size.

I pay £350 for a large barn/lockup I can fit the mog timber trailer chipper and all the other bits in it.

Large area for chip and timber a place to burn. Wash down point toilets and electric to the work shop.

Yes it's not going to be cheep but the guy I am planning on sharing it with runs a business producing chip for boilers so he needs a lot of space. Another guy needs hard standing for 2000ton of softwood that they use for biomass for heating chiming sheds so I'll have a corner and part of a building.

I am trying to get planning on my yard for a house and had out grown it the new place will give me a lot more scope to do different things and grow plus trucks will be able to get in Easier which had been a problem at present yard.
