My brother did and he stopped after the seminars. I would imagine the book would have he same result. He said many people stop after Alan Carr but a small minority dont. I guess its up to how much you want to stop :)

Halfway through it, but beginning to read very slowly.😧

Interesting, book is very convincing while reading it, got to finish reading it before attempting to stop it says! Daughter bought it for me which puts a bit of emotional pressure on too, no bad thing!

I just got the nicotine patches.....put one over each eye, couldn't even find me fags!

 

On a more serious note, Mrs Egg was an heavy smoker, she got some pills from the doctor, took them for a few weeks and as never smoked since, she'll be smoke free for two years in April.

Good for her, it's a bu@@er of a habit, will finish book an give it a go! Wife smokes too, also a nurse and seems to be against the idea of the tablets( or against the idea of giving up!)

Stopped for 8 months,started again,now stopped since end of October , each time used e cig for couple of weeks then gum, Nicorette icy white 4 mg are my weapon of choice, I feel SO much better bein off the gaspers
