I was so chuffed today, felled the biggest tree I've felled yet. It was an over grown Birch that was about 24" diameter at the base and pretty tall. Luckily it was weighted the way I needed to fell it so not a technical job. I was a bit nervous doing it but it dropped perfectly and the hinge was dead square, wish I'd taken a picture now!

Big tree :D

 

Where's all your cones, tape. fencing and traffic control ? You can't just cut trees down roadside like that willy nilly :lol: :lol: :thumbup:

lol there were 4 of us on site two on each lane stopping traffic, one felling and me taking pictures :001_tt2:
