Thoughts on this sycamore please

A customer emailed me these pics of what they said was their back garden sycamore today. They said that it didnt look the same as the others at the back of it, as they were alot smoother on the limbs. This has scale over the entire tree. What are everyones thoughts on it before i get back to them.

For starters never trust a customer to i.d a tree, they are rarely correct. As already said, Sycamores do scale with age & location is a factor to bark condition. Undertake a site visit, even if no work is required it shows the customer you are willing to put yourself out & they will remember you in the future.
