London to Brighton

Anyone else doing the BHF London to Brighton this year? The charity band I play in,The Likely Dads, (we're on facebook ) are having a go and wondered if anyone on here is doing it?

It's alright until you get to the South Downs, they were the killer!

What do you think about doing it on a mountain bike (1980's marin) on road?

I've been asked if I want to team up with a born again biker

I'm fine on the flat but hate hills/ headwinds. Perhaps I just need to get fitter
