1. Pasta is easy, loads of gluten free out there and all pretty good. Bread - look for New Burn brand, a little harder to track down
 2. I'm doing the OFF road one in September - hopefully it's dried out a bit by then, is that the one you're on ? Cheers AndyCM
 3. Experienced climber required for Friday 9th August Bexley / Sidcup (London / Kent Borders) Own saw, PPE & climbing kit needed Some light rigging involved Give me a call to discuss Thanks Andy 07989 435 835
 4. Throwline kit 1 | F R Jones and Son This is a pretty good option to get you up and running, add a tent peg or two to stop the cube blowing away on windy days. Cheers AndyCM
 5. Hi, You know the pile of conifers logs that you walked past recently ? (to get the the firewood pile) Well, they are all due to be moved out at the end of the month - if they are any good to you then you are welcome to them. Cheers Andy

 9. At half a kilo less than a MS261 I'm really glad I bought a MS241, for a full day in the woods that's a heck of a lot of half kilos less to pick up. I've only really tested mine properly with a 14" .325 Rapid Super chain and it works great. Cheers AndyCM
 10. Lyncombe-climber, Put my name on the list for that please. Cheers AndyCM
 11. A very educational day, the way that you explained the theory Alec and then let us practice on your orchard was very giving of you. Thank you for the opportunity to come along. My eyes did glaze over a couple of times when Mark got going with his detailed technical tips, although seeing the ongoing demos made a lot more sense second and third time around, thanks Mark. Good to meet you guys & I look forward to seeing the results in a year or two. Andy
 12. Hi Alec, I would be interested in coming along for some learning. I'm only next door (Longfield / Fawkham) Please let me know when you have a date. Thanks Andy

Hi Natalie,

I just sent a pm regarding tomorrow, and only after sending it saw your reply of yesterday.

I own a VW Carravelle longwheel base (although not a works vehicle, is a similar size to a transit). I have also towed chippers & approximately 20ft trailer behind a longwheelbase LandRover.

I am not familiar with the CSCS card but would consider getting this if needed.

My experience is limited in the industry to a few months, although I have done work in woodland (thinning, clearing rides etc. ) over a fifteen year period on a voluntary basis on small shoots.

On domestic properties I am very aware of the care required in sensitive, compact areas and that all actions reflect on the company.

I hope that helps you.

Kind regards

Andy

 15. I just bought a harness & having checked all the arbtalk history and recommendations I could find (compiled a shortlist) then went and bought a make and model that I had not previously considered ! The real test is trying plenty on and making sure it suits you. I settled on a Skylotec Kolibri click having tried five. Good luck AndyCM
 16. - the turrets could have space to store spare batteries ! The only battery that does anything useful is in the offset part near the ocular lens (eyepiece)
 17. Two ! I'd be very surprised if that's the case, I've never owned a leupold but all other IR scopes I've had have only taken one battery. Could a spring have popped out ? Puzzling:confused1:
 18. http://www.leupold.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/2011_riflescope_owners_handbook2-Rev.-F.pdf?9d7bd4 CR2032 according to page 35 Happy lamping
 19. On site on Thursday I had a 75 year old customer ask me how much the saws cost (we had a MS241 & MS261 buzzing that day, but they could easily have been bigger saws). Off the cuff I said between £500 & £1,000 for good saws which on reflection is about right, I think. So the replacement cost alone (before bars, chains, oil, fuel & bits) is significant especially for a number of saws and how many years before replacement ? That got me thinking as the only source of funding is the rate charged to the customer. Andy
 20. Hi Dan, Have you got an assessment date booked ? Pm me what dates / times you can be in the Meopham area next week. Cheers Andy
