Todays been pretty good actually, I have not been anywhere near as hungry as I though I would be, I had bacon for breakfast, we had run out of eggs so it was just bacon, the for lunch I had a load of salad with prawns followed by a few cherries and prunes, just got in and had a roll mop herring as a snack, going to have pork stir fry later..

A munch box is ideal for work to snack on during the day. I go to tescos in the packaged nut section and buy a bag of dried fruit, pumpkin seeds, almonds, pecans, sesame seeds and walnuts. Chuck them all in a big tupperware and give it a good shake. Costs a bit, but the box lasts me a month...just a small handful here and there between breaks does wondes for energy level

I am a big fan of mixed fruits and nut. Usually buy a big grab bag when I am in Norway and snack.

Not really been following the Paleo thing but have tried a few of the recipes some of you have posted. Especially like the yoghurt chilli and lime baked cauliflower. I have tried to cut down on bread though and usually have chicken or mackerel and salad for lunch and a couple of eggs and chilli sauce. Don't think I could ever stop eating rice though. It is ingrained in me.

What do you guys eat/use instead of wheat? I love a good loaf of granary and a nice bowl of pasta, how do you get around it?

As Steve said - nothing to replace.

Humans seem to have got into the habit of stuffing their guts with loads of food for some reason, when what the body needs is the right nutrients.

All the pasta, bread, rice and spuds etc are just fillers to make us think we are full, whereas they contribute very little nutritionally and just go in one end and out the other and potentially with a few side effects as well.

Eat the right foods for your body and you wont be hungry and you would be surprised how much less volume you need to eat to be satisfied.

Hunger in this country is actually just nutrient deficiency from eating highly processed food with no nutrients in it. The body is calling for nutrients and we just keep shovelling the same dead shite in our gobs so the cycle continues.

If you want something to snack on, this stuff is amazing. I mentioned it to you at the show Steve then forgot to send you a link. They do mail order as well! biltongenwors.co.uk - the easiest way to buy biltong and droewors online in the UK!

Had a few orders off them and tried a number of others and it is good quality biltong :thumbup1:
