There seams to be a lot of people posting looking for arb waste/cord to make in to fire wood and they mostly seam to get an ok response so why not have a place where people can put up what they have going spare and what they want for it? i understand that most people have markets for larger amounts but there must be times when you just get some arb waste/cord spare in smaller amounts or just to far from your yards so why not have a place to try and put the people together?

It's called the firewood forum :)

Members already do it.

Yes tree surgeons call it arb arisings

Log merchants call it arb waste

They both get on the firewood forum and argue how much its worth

Then the public collect it free

Had good response from everyone I told about it.

Woods free. Just charge for hour it takes to load it and haulage..

I'm quite new to the firewood business, what's the difference between arb waste and cord?, I mean why do firewood producers not so keen on arb waste is it purely because it's labour intensive and won't go through processors?
