What did you anchor on to ?

 

I disliked cutting Ivy, full of particles :thumbup1:

 

Did you not fancy wearing a face mask?

The 4x4 was parked on the carpark at the top, used a sling to get me from the winch bumper over the wall then my cambium saver to make sure my rope didn't get pulled or braised on the gabions!

Was a soaking wet day, there was no dust or floating muck :001_cool:

Just as an interesting point, I did a load of tree work at the home of the bloke that invented the gabion basket before tragically died. He was the most kind hearted and friendly bloke I ever had the privilege to know

 

Not wishing to derail the thread too much; what happes when the galvanising corrodes off the wire and the wire starts rusting?
