Never made anything out of wood before and not really got the right tools but the Mrs has been nagging me so thought I'd have a go. Think I've got the bug now .....

Thats great

Much better than most of the ones you see for sale and it's your first go at woodwork

Hi chaps.

I really fancy having a go at making some of these this year.

Where do i start ? eg how big do i make them, length of body/head, height of legs, etc. Also in some pictures people have used some thing like a teddy bear eye, where do you get these, also how do i attach a ping pong ball for a nose ?

Sorry for the daft questions, just want to get stuck in and make some.

Cheers.

Just make it up as you go along :001_smile:

Red wine bottle cap makes a quick nose. Legs well chop them down until you're happy with them. Hardest bit I had was finding the right twigs for the antlers.
