Whats to stop someone checking out how this firewood drier works and is put together and just copies it. I don't know if it is patented but it wouldn't take much to make a few changes so it isn't a copy. They could then dry their own firewood cheaply and also keep the RHI dosh!

Nothing, someone could copy it. But it would cost them 30 -40% more than it costs us (we have economies of scale) and they would struggle to get supplied with a compliant boiler. They would have the risk factor, have to outlay well over £65K plus vat. All they would gain is the first part of the RHI income because we pass on the second part of the income under our most popular agreement options. If someone has the cash, skill and appetite for risk and wishes to do this and then longer term they may be better off.

Most of our customers are focused on their core business and don't have the time, ability, cash or desire to do this when we are offering a solution that not only solves major problems for them but costs them nothing and provides them (in most cases) with a valuable income source each year.

Well that finally takes the biscuit. If anyone wants one just look on the internet there readily available on alibaba manufactured in Lithuania and come under the name of Fly 40 just add your own RHI compliant boiler and meter.

i cant believe you are so shocked that they are available to buy? Have you never heard of google?!

I looked at them at the beginning of the winter and spoke to a few UK companies that you can buy the 40ft kilns from But i didn't fancy the £50k+vat finance on it.

If you want to front up the cash and buy one, crack on! If not, the logpro is a perfect solution!
