Just been to one of the allotments we leave chip at to find a notice on the gate stating that no more chip can be left there and any one caught leaving woodchip will be prosecuted for fly tipping

Any one else heard of this or had problems?

All our allotments are under lock and key so you can't tip off without being let in anyway, I just think the councils like making it hard for us.

Hello all, first post on this forum, we have a list of local farmers who are always willing to take chip as they use is for outdoor standing/feeding areas for cattle. Just a thought.

Not too many farms round our way unfortunately, allotments, schools and the odd stable take most of ours but can always use more sites

Just not too sure why the council want to stick their nose in when the allotment holders want the chip
