Sugi Hara Bars

Been running a 36" Sugi for about 15 months now. As bigger bars go, it's easily the best I've used. Nice and rigid so you don't get any nose sag on horizontal cuts. They are very hard, so dressing can be a bit difficult, little and often is best.

 

Had a 20" since the new batch came in, so far very pleased.

 

28" Husky bar has about had it now, hmmmm, what to get next...............

240 gives 7t clutch drive and 1.5mm drive tooth width...

it seems any bar longer than 14" would need 7t clutch drive and 1.5mm drive teeth...

so i would need a bar, chain and sprocket.

maybe i am just better off sticking to the 14" bar and getting a new chain at some point.

That is alway the best way, regardless what bar it is!
