This is Pete...a tree surgeon who moved into a lovely cottage one week ago. Onthe night of the storm he went outside and although he knew there wad a monumental Gale occuring,he felt sure all trees would still be upright in the morning........WRONG.....There was no noise except for the scratch of a small branch landing on the roof...he took a look outside........

Not really Stevie, the tree came from a council owned nature reserve, so we winched it all back through the hole in the wall. Not sure if I could handle a job like that again...
