Yeah it is a tree being felled, badly at that but it happens. As long as it is not you or your company doing it then what's the problem..?

The problem I have with people working like that is they give the industry a bad name. They shouldn't be working like this, it's dangerous and unprofessional.

Because the stunt fell thread is quite addictive. Everyones getting in on it.

We used to do that all the time, 2 crews on the council contract, it makes up for all the lost costs on turning up to find your cones have been moved, someone doesnt want the dying tree gone or just idiots who have cut a tree down once.

I've done this many a time(perhaps slightly different circumstances and methods though)...its called cracking on with the job. My guess is 2 seperate teams working on a council contract and thought they'd bosh last one out together to finish the day off.

I'm sure we've all been tempted. But who in their right mind would post a video of their own borderline ineptitude or contempt for their client on a public website?

They had two trucks there..... Why not top it into one and chunck it into the other? Tree looked a piece of carrot cake to climb. No ropes, just spikes and a flip line, get up the inside, knock it's head off :D
