''Chuga chuga'' sound coming from navara front end?

Ive fixed the previous problem with my truck only for a new one to arise! every time I turn the wheel even slightly theres a loud noise coming from the front end. Its a ''chuga chuga chuga'' sort of noise thats the best way to describe it. Sort of sounds like a helicopter. Its not the wheel bearings they were changed about 3 or 4 months ago. Ive got General grabber all terrains on there so their quite aggresive and apparently the tread towards the edge of them can wear un evenly causing this sort of sound. But id have thought it wouldnt have come about this suddenly. Any ideas?

Front diff? Was out in the bosses hi-lux last week n heard a rumble and he had a look at his manual and it's kinda like diff wind up n it basically said run in 4wd for a few miles now and again

Could be the front uj. I had similar noises on my 54 L200 turned out to be the uj on the front propshaft.

Possible power steering pump, anything bearing or drive shaft wise, shouldn't impact if the steering is moved only slightly.

I would expect it to not be so obvious when moving.

have you checked everything is tightened up properly to do with the steering?

I'd go with pump too, mine loses a bit of ps fluid and makes similar noise when runs low
