Thanks for all your answers, and cheers Dan. I'm very tempted to go with the 395.

 

Try it and see how you get on. I had the 395 before the 576. It did get to me having to use a big saw when a 15" became too small. The thing I like about my setup is that both the 395 and 576 will run the same bars, from 18" up to 36", though the 576 would struggle over 28".

I was tempted with the 372 but think i will go all out and get the 395. Like I said I've got the 550 but think its too small. I don't think I'll want anything bigger than the 395 so if all fails I can go for the 372.

I'd go for a 390 before a 395, much more usable saw and still pull a 28" bar all day or go mad with a 16" for cross cutting. But I do have an 088 and soon to be ported 3120 if I need bigger.
