Autotune running lean

Yeah my auto tunes have been doing the same ... These saws have some serious power and torque, I've had the 540 since august and it gets stronger every day, the torque through the cut now is getting unbelievable for a small saw , down side its caning my wrist pulling it over ... Are 560 is just stupidly quick any way but in these conditions I'm picking it up over the 372 all the time, Just like a turbo charged car they love the lower temps.

I find mine develops more power in the cold, and more so with a tank of aspen, on another note, had a go with a 540 earlier, first time the saw had been used in a cut (demo saw at the dealers) and I must say, it runs rings around my 200t! I can only imagine what it's like with the spark screen pulled and proper fuel (dealer runs 25:1 for first tank)!

Hi folks. Do the autotune saws have a tendency to run lean on colder weather? Did some cutting yesterday and the thing seems to be screaming louder. It was an amazing saw a few days ago but the thing seems to be in steroids now

My Subaru Impreza was just the same. LOVED the cold weather - because the fuel injection was just like AutoTune and took advantage of it to pump in more fuel and create more power :-)

Always wanted a scooby :D

:-) Did 212,000 miles in mine in 9 years from new before I retired her to SORN 'play' duties. Couldn't bring myself to sell her. Just need to get a knocking big end sorted and take out the last cat, then she'll be the perfect track car.

The Defender and Impreza-sized trailer have uses beyond the firewood business ;-)
