Wow by my calculation it's around £43 once it gets to roadside plus the profit plus the transport so £63t correct me if I am wrong:001_tongue:

no your not wrong i got to 65 t so we both work it out about the same

Anyone buying in hard cord at market rates and not selling it for at least £110 + VAT is not making any money at all. I would rather mine sit in the barn than do it for nothing.

Don't hate you mate. I sell out charging more than twice that.

 

Some customers want cheap some want the best logs they can get and don't ask the price. I know which customers I want :biggrin:

Yea i can never understand people that charge way under everyone else in the area, there are a few around here that boast they are a lot cheaper than us but i think more fool them. Im making more profit and selling out at the end of November anyway for the same amount of work. Just wish i had more time to process 1000 cube to last me to christmas :P

I bought a few crates of logged and split kiln dried Ash and Beech recently to sell on. Worked out around £65 per cubic metre. Doesn't sound too bad going off some of the roundwood prices being quoted in here

Whereabouts are you at that price I can afford to stockpile and sell at £100 per cube keeping my stock for next year.
