Anyone got the perfect piece of ash for this?

Just wondering if someone might have some 2"+ thick ash with grain that would be right for the legs of this table ie with a wave in the grain. I have the top it's the end legs I don't have wood for. I know it's a long shot but thought it worth an ask

Excuse the characterized drawing but hope it gives the idea of what I have in mind. Also need a piece for the rail but nice straight grain would be best for this.

Ever hopeful

Beau

Edit

Oops just realised this is not the milling forum.

It may be worth dropping Charles Hey a PM. Martin (Burrell) and I milled some for him at Easter and the top length from the second tree may have what you are looking for in it.

Obviously won't be fully dry yet, but it should be ready for dropping in a kiln.

Here's some pics of what I have. One piece is pretty perfect for the job. The second unfortunately has a check through it making it not as good. I have a couple of similar longer bits but there buried in a pile so thought I'd start with these. Forgot to take tape down with me but guess on size is 2"x30"x18". The bottom left corner on both has been trimmed off so wave is more prominent than it looks on the waney side but it does start to straighten up towards the right hand side. 2nd pic has check.

Thanks James

I need to think on this but so much for your time on this. Looking at the check it looks quite straight. Do you think it would look tidy if cut down middle, plane out damage and glue back together? How much do you think I would loose of the width?
