With regards to transporting and hiring these are the weak links, whenever you get that dependence on someone else your gonna get let down at some point, normally when your desperate. Your own transport is invaluable.

On 1 hand it can be a weak link on the other it frees up more of my time and it's machinery I don't need to own and maintain that brings me very little return for the outlay

Nice to see the machine is really making a difference for you.

 

I agree on the transport, if you have a regular professional outfit, plus a couple of backup options it's not too bad.

 

I sometimes don't move for months on end, so it's a balance as to if it's worth the hassle of doing it myself, and the Client always pay anyway.
