Got 65 bags of mixed ash/ beech / syc already bagged

 

At a guess about 100 bags of mixed hardwood ( billets )

 

Have about 30 bags of beech

 

Hopefully have my best year

A few loads turned up this week. There is a stack of softwood behind those 3 and a big load of pop at the back of the yard too.

Finally, I have a woodpile worth sharing The thinings from the trees overhanging our drainage ditches that hadn't been touched in 30 years, plus a few other ones that needed some attention.

 

 

and what has been built for it while I'm away working. Won't be fuel for this winter, but next winter I'll be burning our own produce at last. All bar the front uprights is salvaged from an old workshop that's being replaced with a new building.

 

 

As you can see, I've got a bit of work to do when I'm home for a few weeks.

The timber diameter on the last image is increasing in size since I last saw it - or are those saw logs?

 

If not what is the average diameter would you say? R
