I remember years ago, call outs were awesome, exciting, adrenalin pumping things. Now they are just a pain in the backside...quite happy if my phone doesnt ring. Nothing big or clever about being out clearing up a dangerous tree in howling wind and rain when I can be sat home drinking wine

I'm going with Steve !! :001_smile:

We were out Friday night when a mini tornado hit just outside easingwald, York area, trees just snapped of at ground level a whole garden shed 20ft up what was left of an oak, roofs of Farm sheds and tin sheeting everywhere.

Clearing roads in the dark is ok but leave the tidy up till daylight and any climbing till you can assess exactly what is going on as done a few in the past that when I've gon back thought flip... I was up that in that condition or words to that affect:eek:

On call tonight but bet it comes to nowt as every time I've been prepped nowt happens.

Anyone prepared to share how they charge even if it's not in£ how do you brake down you call out charges?
