Has anyone had any calls yet with regards to storm/wind damaged trees etc?

 

Update us when you do get a call, and try and get pictures if you have time... It'll be good to see them all and read the stories!!

Haven't long finished clearing a pretty huge beech that decided it was time for a lay down it's not even that windy yet

:-s dreading tomorrow it's just me and my groundy keeping all the roads in the whole of bedfordshire clear 1,346 2km..... Should be fun

Had a call earlier asking if I would be free to clear up the tree IF IT DID BLOW OVER in the coming storm.

Must be my first hypothetical booking ever.

 

She then phoned back to ask if I would go round today and take the top out anyway!

By this time the rain was lashing and wind was increasing - so I suggested she wait and see what happens rather than spend money on the assumption...

I did years of call outs! Earned some good money. The thought of the phone ringing at this time on a Saturday night makes me shudder.

I'm on duty until 10pm on Sunday, then we have the entire arb team on call all night. I'll go in if needed but I've got bad mobile coverage where I live and my home phone is totally un reliable!
