According to BBC news, scientists have found gold particles in eucalyptus trees that are located over gold deposits in Australia.

 

Thinking of moving over there. The plan: Chip trees, place chips in kiln, burn chips and just watch the gold run out of bottom. money really does grow on trees.

Would make sense as trees are bioacumulators i.e. birch pioneers on heavy metal spoil sites and literally cleans up soil...

That sounds like a plan to me, wonder what would run out if you tried that over here?????

There is also gold in humans. Less travelling, if not a bit messy.

How about searching for and drying out Koala poop then panning it for gold ? I can't see the fascination with gold really or why it's linked to monetary systems.
